The sun was just up, 7.15 score-sheet showing 4 wickets down for at, runs, a.mL, and large parties of the men were away, Wodehouse (Repton) and Porter (Cheltenham) | some having gone to their wood-cutting, some to stayed together until the score was raised to 35, and the river to wash, others to fetch water; some then Hendry, who was trundling in rare furm, were escorting home the parties of girls who had demolished the Reptonian's stumps with a regular come bringing focd to the Royal-kraoly-while-|- trinimer. "Valletta, Malta, exhibit in a tastefully arranged case, samples of their famous 'Kaisar- I-Hind' Cigarettes, and inasmuch as a revolution in the habit of smoking is now setting · in, this exhibit should prove attractive to all lovers of the fragrant weed. Instead of atrong Tobacco, often used in too strong pipes and full flavoured Cigars, the mild Cigarette is rapidly coming into vogue. The report of what actually happened in the attack on Cetywayo's town, Ulundi, lately reached England from the Zulu King's friends.. In Sir Henry Bulwer's settlement of Zululand, Hamu's district was included in the country over which Cetywayo was appointed ruler. But Hamu has all along, shown a disaffected and readless spirit. He has refused to recognise Cety. wayo's authority, and has killed and plundered many of the Loyal Zulus ilving in Northern Zu- Juland. He and Kukula, state as follows -No impi had gone out from Ulundis, there were portions of nine regiments there, but two of them only, in.・ name, as their companies were not filled up.
