TELE HE CANTON-HONGKONG TGRAPH LINE Having been finished as far as Kow-Wa village on the Mainland, the Company will be prepared to accept for trans mission Telegrams from the Public on and after MONDAY, the 9th day of July. The tariff of rates will be 5 Cents per Werd, to which, how- ever, will have to be added an extra charge of one cent for transmission by steam-launch be- tween Hongkong and the present terminus of the Line. This extra charge will be abolished as soon as the Company has received permission from the COLONIAL GOVERNMENT to connect the. end of the land-line with Hongkong, by cable. All Telegrams for Canton to be handed in at the Company's Station, No. 89, PRAYA CENTRAL, HONGKONG, as no messages will be received at the temporary Station on the mainland. Mes sages from Canton to be handed in at the Company's Temporary Station at the EAST STREET SUN-TOW-LAN in the City of Canton,
