Conïmercial.

THIS DAY.

Noon.

An unusually quiet morning on the Stock Exchange. A small lot of Banks changed hands for cash at 140 per cent. premium, and a fair amount of business has been negotiated at 145 for December 31st. Docks are weak, with sellers, at 52 per cent premium, and possibly a lower offer would not be allowed to go begging 'Steamboats,on the other hand, remain every firm, with buyers at 31 per share premium." Luzons are still on the downward line, a few sales for cash at 110 having taken place to-day; the stock leaving off un- steady with sellers at the quotation, No other movements have come under our notice.

4 o'clock p.m. The only business that has taken place since the issue of our morning report has been a few transactions in Luzons" on timeat for the end of November, 112 for 'December and 114 for January 31st. For cash there are buyers of the stock at 10. Other quotations remain un- altered.
