The work will also contain the Principal Treaties between European countries and the United States and the countries East of the Straits, together with conditions of Trade, and the Port, Customs, Con- sular and Harbour Regulations for the Ports of China and Japan; and a des- cription of the Ports, with the latest Trade Statistics taken from the Reports Sunda of the Imperial Maritime Customs and other reliable sources.
