Day nurseries ease the responsi- bilities of working mothers. The children on the merry-go-round are too young for school. Behind the roof-top play centre, where others seem to be playing three- dimensional chess on the jungle- gym, can be seen the resettle- ment blocks and flatted factories in which their mothers live and work.
