Authorized Auditors Board.
26. During the year the Authorized Auditors Board con- stituted under Section 131A (1) of the Companies Ordinance, of which the Registrar of Companies is ex officio Chairman, approved 4 applications by auditors for admission to, and 1 application for the inclusion of a firm name in Part I of the List.
27. The Authorized Auditors (Disciplinary Inquiry Pro- ceedings) Rules, 1955, made by the Board and approved by the Governor were published in the Gazette of 18th March, 1955 (G.N. A.26 of 1955). The Rules prescribe the procedure to be followed in dealing with an application requesting the Board to inquire into an allegation made against an auditor under Section 131B (2) of the Ordinance.
