Fees.

The total of Land Office fees collected in the year (exclusive of fees collected in the District Land Offices in the New Territories) was $218,232.50.
An analysis of this figure by months and main cate- gories is given in Table V and for purposes of comparison Table VI shows the totals of fees collected during the last ten years.
In the New Territories, Land Registration fees collected through the District Commissioner's office amounted to $41,466.00, and Crown Lease fees totalled $390.00.
Stamp Duty.
7. The total amount of Stamp Duty paid on instruments registered was $6,007,175.80 the corresponding figure for the previous year being $6,441,293.60.
Crown Rents.
8. The number of lots on the Principal Rent Roll was 14,825, being 397 more than the previous year, and the Crown Rents collected for the year totalled $1,059,557.82. Table VII gives particulars by localities, and shows increases of 50 in Marine Lots (Victoria), 124 in Inland Lots (Victoria), 138 in Kowloon Inland Lots and 72 in New Kowloon Inland Lots:
The Village Rent Roll which is contained in Table VIII shows little change from last year, the total number of lots being now 1,879 and the total Crown Rent $1,191.50.
9. During the year under review the Crown Rents payable in respect of 493 sections of lots were determined under the Crown Rents (Apportionment) Ordinance (Cap. 125), and a total of $6,135.00 collected in fees for this.
Airfield (Kai Tak) Extension & Reversion Ordinance (Cap. 246.).. 10. One further claim amounting to $2,258.30 including interest was settled.
