Another editorial treatment of favourable contents could be seen in the design of medal standing tables. At times when China was well positioned in the medal standings, the table of medal winning countries would usually be in larger size, better locations such as the middle columns, more attractive designs such as bold characters. Examples could be found in the final medal standing table in the Asian Games '86 printed on page two of the October 6th issue and also the one in Universiade '85 printed on page three of the September 3rd issue.
