This Division is responsible for all new projects, both Electrical and Mechanical, which are undertaken on behalf of client Departments and the various Offices of the Public Works Department. In addition to acting as consultants, the Division carries out the investigation, design, preparation of specifications, drawings, indents and contract documents for, as well as the supervision of, projects under construction. The Division also administers the Lifts and Escalators (Safety) Ordinance.
