Kwun Tong

68. Construction of four domestic blocks was completed in March 1960. Site formation and piling are almost complete and a construction contract has been let for the remaining 20 blocks.

Chai Wan (Stage 1)

69. The final two domestic blocks and the flatted factory were completed by September 1959.

Chai Wan (Stage II)

70. Site formation and piling work have started for the seven domestic blocks in this stage.

Li Cheng Uk (Stage IV)

71. Construction of the first two domestic blocks was completed in November 1959. Site formation and piling for the final two blocks were also completed and the superstructure construction started.

Tai Wo Hau (Stage 1)

72. Site formation and piling work are well in hand for thirteen domestic blocks and a flatted factory. Tenders have been invited for the superstructure construction.

Cheung Sha Wan (No. 2 Factory)

73. Site formation and piling work have been completed and a start made on the superstructure construction.

Wang Tau Hom (Formerly Area North of Lo Fu Ngam)

74. Site formation for the 24 domestic blocks in this estate has started.

Tung Tau (Stage 1)

75. Site formation work is complete. Piling work is in hand and tenders have been invited for ten domestic blocks.

General

76. Schemes have been prepared and contract drawings are in hand for work to start on the following Estates as soon as clearances can be effected:

(1) Wong Tai Sin-Area 'D'
(2) Kwun Tong-2 flatted factories
(3) Cheung Sha Wan-No. 3 flatted factory
(4) Chai Wan-No. 2 flatted factory.
