Foul sewers, house connexions, storm-water drains, and road gullies were provided for housing estates, notably the Yau Yat Chuen scheme off Boundary Street, the development at North Point, Jardine's Lookout scheme, the development at Percival Street, the Kowloon Tsai scheme, and the Shek Wu Hui development scheme.

199. 1,094 connexions, the highest annual number recorded, were made.
