ESTABLISHMENT AND STRENGTH

36. The Force establishment, excluding civilian posts, for the financial year 1967-68 was 11,383 as against 10,996 for the previous year, an increase of 387. This establishment included 82 supernumerary posts. At the end of the year the strength was 11,009, giving a deficiency of 374.

37. The distribution of the Force establishment at the 31st March, 1968, is shown in Appendix 3. Comparative establishment and strength figures for the last 3 years are:
