Teaching of Mosquitology.

8. A course of twenty lectures on this subject was given to Public Health Inspectors together with Field and Laboratory Demonstrations. One inspector from Macau was given two months' anti-malarial training at the Bureau for the Portuguese Government. A series of Lectures were given to the pupil teachers at the Northcote Training School.

Legal Action.

9. The illegal Sai Young Choi crop continued to be growɑ until May when with the exception of thirteen secres the majority of cultivatora turned to dry cultivation. This thirteen acres was removed in September, but promptly replanted. The prosecution of the matter is now in the bands of « Select Committee. Eighty- aight legal notices were served in the course of the year for mosquito breeding and 36 people were summoned.
