3. Other blood parasites --Sp. recurrentis was found present in sixty-three films out of the 4,000 examined for malaria.

Filaria-Two films were examined for filarial embryos and both found posi- The infecting parasite was M. bancroftï in each instance.

Faecer-One thousand nine bundred and thirty-five stools were examined for parasites or their ova and for the presence or absence of the typical cytological picture of bacillary dysentery. One point is worthy of note, namely, the enormous increase in infestation with ascaria,
