The above Baluner Sheet and the accompanying Income and Expenditure Account have been examined in accordance with Conditinu 5 of the Schedule to Legislative Council Resolution dated 24th May, 1950 (G.N.A. 113 of 26th May, 1950 amended by G.N.A. 33 of 22nd April, 1968). I have obtained all the information and explanations that I have required, and I certily, as a result of this audit, that in my opinion the Balance Sheet and Income unl Expenditure Acconni ure correct. KEPORT ON THE SAMARITAN FUND, L4.52 – 31.3.63 Endeavours have been made to karp down the oxpenditure from this fund due tu dilliculty in obtaining unflicient income. Neverthelem, the expenditure of $19,481.50 this year exceeded incoine by $4,200.50. The greater park of this sum was used for the travelling expenses of patients who could mat offerwise altend for the treatment recommended by the lactors, and of their relativen who could not otherwise come to the hospitals for the interviews which the doctors wished to have with them. The making possible of those journeys will have to be still further cut in the year 1963/64,
