A new,

more streamlined performance

assessment system has been implemented

which identifies offences of bus captains

and, at the same time, speeds up

reporting procedures to allow faster

action to be taken by Discipline and

Senior Monitors. The system also

identifies those Bus Captains who

demonstrate exceptional driving skills

and passenger awareness. The success of

the new system can be seen by the fact

that there has been a significant drop in

accidents involving new bus captains

during their first two months of service.

In 1993, the bus accident rate dropped

for the 4th successive year and now

stands at 4 bus accidents per million

Vehicle-Km.

一項全新且更有效之工作表現評估制度

經已實施,以辨別車長們之過失,同

時,加快了匯報程序,使紀律組及高級

監督可更快地採取相應行動。此項制度

亦可辯識那些具有出色駕駛技術和關懷

乘客之車長。新車長於首兩個月之服務

期內,涉及之意外大大下降,這反映出

新制度之成功。一九九三年,巴士意外

率連續第四年下降,現時維持於每行車

一百萬公里只有四宗巴士意外。
