excellence in this field is evidenced by

the time and resources that the

Company puts into training its staff. The

Company apprentices frequently win

prizes from the Vocational Training

Council and again, this year, one of the

Company's apprentices scored the

highest marks in the skills section of the

1993 Best Apprentice Competition.

能產生之問題。本公司在這方面之承諾

實踐,可見證於本公司在其僱員培訓方

面所投入之時間及資源。本公司之學徒

屢獲職業訓練局之獎項,今年,再有一

位本公司的學徒於一九九三年最佳學徒

比賽之技術組中獲得最高分數。

2) Enhancing the Skills of Bus

Captains

The Company also trains its own bus

captains. The successful achievement of

the Transport Department's Franchised

Bus Licence is just a stage in the

Company's training programme for bus

captains. On obtaining their licence,

new recruits must undergo additional

skills learning to acquire safe driving

habits that will maximise the safety of

bus passengers. Remedial and refresher

programmes were upgraded in 1993.

Every year, KMB trained up large number of skilled mechanics.

每年,九巴訓練了大批技術人材。

2) 提高車長之技術

本公司亦為車長提供訓練。而訓練車長

使其可成功取得運輸署之專利巴士牌

照,只是本公司車長訓練課程之一部

份。獲取牌照後,新車長仍須接受額外

之安全駕駛技術訓練課程,以養成安全

駕駛習慣,保障乘客安全。一九九三

年,本公司並重新編訂及提高有關課程

之水準。
