New Bus Depot
The Company acquired a temporary
depot site of 18,500 square metres ät
Tseung Kwan O, Area 13, and
construction was completed at a cost of
$11 million.
The new depot became operational in
November 1993 and provides refuelling,
bus washing, minor repair and parking
facilities for 160 buses.
新巴士廠
本公司取得一幅位於將軍澳第十三區,
共一萬八千五百平方米之地皮作臨時巴
士車廠,而建築工程經已完成,耗資共
港幣一千一百萬元。
新巴士廠於一九九三年十一月開始啓
用,並爲一百六十部巴士提供入油、清
洗巴士、簡單修理及停泊設施。

make the interior of buses even safer and
more "user-friendly" for bus passengers.

使傷殘人士更易使用九巴服務
在本年內本公司服務部及工程部之同事
一直尋找各種方法,今巴士之內部設計
對乘客更安全及更方便乘客使用。本公
司尤其努力嘗試將原本為增加一般乘客
效用而設之巴士系統裝備成同時可兼顧
到傷殘乘客之需求。為實現這個目標,
本公司於一九九三年初,邀請來自多個
傷殘人士組織之代表一同前往本公司其
中一個巴士廠,測試使用不同類型之巴
士,並且就如何令巴士能更方便傷殘人
