Service Area (TSA) in the Tuen Mun

and Yuen Long area with effect from

1 June 1993. To allow residents in the

area to benefit from this change in

Government policy, the Company

offered section fares for Tuen Mun/Yuen

Long bound passengers who boarded the

Company's buses from within the TSA.

自一九九三年六月一日起,政府決定取

消對九巴於屯門及元朗輕便鐵路服務區

內之上落限制。為使該區市民能從政府

是項政策改變中獲益,本公司並提供分

段車費予以屯門、元朗為目的地而在輕

便鐵路服務區上車之乘客。

New Buses

新巴士

A total of 187 buses (71 air-conditioned

double-deck, 46 normal double-deck and

70 air-conditioned single-deck) were

licensed and deployed on the road in

1993 to cater for the introduction of new

routes and service improvements.

一九九三年共有一百八十七部巴士(七

十一部空調雙層巴士、四十六部普通雙

層巴士及七十部空調單層巴士)獲發牌

照,並於路面使用,以行駛新路線及改

善服務。

By the end of 1993, the Company had 350 new buses on order, comprising 250

air-conditioned double-deck, 20 air-

conditioned single-deck and 80 normal

double-deck buses.

在一九九三年底,本公司已訂購三百五

十部巴士,包括二百五十部空調雙層巴

士、二十部空調單層巴士及八十部普通

雙層巴士。
