The following changes in membership occurred during the year:

(1) Mr. D. R. Holmes, M.C., M.B.E., E.D. resumed the Chairmanship on 19th November, 1957, on his return from leave, and on 10th March, 1958, was transferred to other duties, being succeeded by Mr. C. G. M. Morrison.

(2) Mr. K. A. Watson was appointed as a member from 25th April, 1957 to 30th October, 1957, during the absence on leave of Col. J. D. Clague, C.B.E., M.C., T.D. (3) Dr. A. H. R. Coombes, M.B.E., was appointed to act as Assistant Director of Health Services for the following periods during the absence of Dr. P. H. Teng:

From 8th May, 1957 to 4th June, 1957.

From 12th September, 1957, to 19th September, 1957. From 16th December, 1957, to 31st December, 1957.

(4) On 12th May, 1957, Mr. J. C. McDouall was appointed to act as Secretary for Chinese Affairs vice Mr. B. C. K. Hawkins, C.M.G., O.B.E., who proceeded on leave prior to retirement.
