ABBREVIATED ADDRESSES
A registered abbreviated address may be used in a telegraph money order, but it is not permissable to use such an address in place of the name of the remitter.
ADVICE OF PAYMENT
The sender may, on payment of a fee of 40c. either at the time of issue or subsequently, be furnished by post with the date of payment. If the request for an advice of payment is to be communicated to the office of payment in the telegram of advice, the sender must pay the cost of including in the telegram the words Advise Payment.
PRIVATE MESSAGES
A private message to the payee may be included in the official telegram of advice. Payment for the additional words will be required for messages at the Ordinary rate. For messages sent at the LT rate (the minimum charge for which is as for 22 words) the words remaining available after allowing for the official telegram of advice, may be utilized for a private message. The message, which should be written in the space provided on the requisition form may, if so desired, consist solely of the sender's name, or name and address, which are not in ordinary course communicated to the payee.
CERTIFICATE OF ISSUE
A certificate of issue is handed to the purchaser of every telegraph money order and this certificate should accompany any inquiry respecting it.
ORDERS ISSUED ABROAD
Telegraph money orders issued abroad and payable in this Colony are governed by the same conditions as ordinary money orders issued abroad.

P.O. British postal orders issued in Hong Kong are payable in these countries. A.P. Advice of payment may be obtained on payment of 40 cents.
