EXPORTS LICENCES
The export licensing restrictions referred to on page 31 do not apply to parcels, etc., addressed to and intended solely for the personal use of Commonwealth Forces on service abroad. The restrictions do, however, apply to parcels, etc., addressed to members of Allied Forces (other than Commonwealth Forces) serving abroad and to all civilian personnel abroad using a military address.
REDIRECTION
Letters for officers and other ranks of H.M. Forces, etc., on actual service are exempt from any charge for redirection.

CERTIFICATES OF POSTING
Unregistered and uninsured postal packets.
If proof is desired that an unregistered or uninsured article has been posted to a particular persons, it must be handed in at a post office and a certificate of posting asked for. The charge is five cents payable by means of a postage stamp which must be affixed by the sender to the form of certificate,
Such articles in respect of which a certificate of posting is issued will not be registered nor will they be checked in the post, but will be treated as if they had been posted in a letter-box. In the event of loss, damage or delay the certificate will confer no title to com- pensation nor will it be deemed to furnish a proof of the nature of the contents of the postal article to which it relates.
Registered and Insured postal packets
A certificate of posting in respect of a registered or insured article is issued free of charge at the time of posting, and the sender should preserve it carefully for use in the event of inquiry regarding the article.
REPLY COUPONS
Imperial and International Reply Coupons are exchangeable at Post Offices abroad for postage stamps, and thus enable the sender of a letter to a place abroad to prepay a reply. They are sold at the G.P.O.. Hong Kong, and the Kowloon Post Office. Coupons received from other countries may be exchanged for postage stamps at these offices.
Imperial Coupons are valid only within the British Commonwealth and cost 25c each. They are exchangeable for a stamp or stamps representing the minimum postage payable on a letter sent within the Commonwealth. International Coupons may be purchased at 55c each and they are exchangeable in any foreign country of the Postal Union for a stamp or stamps representing the minimum postage payable on a letter sent abroad from that country.
