of issue, the amount due will be refunded to the sender of the original radiotelegram.
(f) When a special paid service has not been rendered, as in the case of a collated (T.C.) telegram not repeated, the charge collected in respect thereof will be refunded.
(g) When a radiotelegram has been cancelled at the office of origin before transmission to the coast station has commenced, or before such transmission has been completed. If the radiotelegram is cancelled after its transmission to the coast station but before it has reached the ship station of destination, or the ship has passed out of range of the coast station, any balance of charges will be refunded.
Claims should be submitted, together with, in the case of non-delivery, a written statement from the ship or the addressee that the radiotelegram has not been received, or in other cases the actual message delivered to the addressee.
They should be addressed to the Postmaster General and must be made within six months of the date of the original radiotelegram.
When a
a coast station is unable to transmit a radiotelegram to the ship to which it is addressed, the charges prepaid less the cost for transmission to the coast station will be refunded to the sender.
No claim for reimbursement will be entertained unless it is made within six months of date of the original radiotelegram.
The amounts paid in respect of radiotelegrams or ordinary telegrams sent in consequence of non-delivery, delay, or incorrect transmission of a radiotelegram will in no case be refunded.
SIGNAL STATIONS.
Signal Stations for communication with vessels passing the lighthouses are maintained at Gap Rock and Waglan Lighthouses which are in telegraphic communication with the Government Radio Telegraph
Ofice.
Arrangements can be made with the Government Radio Telegraph Office for advice of shins nassing the lighthouses. The fee for each advice is 20 cents which must be prepaid. Shipping firms who have placed standing orders with the Government Radio
