(c) Radiotelegrams routed as above must bear, before the address, the service indication R.M. = (Retransmission).

The prefix R. M. will be charged for as one word and an additional retransmission charge of GF.0.40 per word will be made without a minimum charge whether the retransmission is effected by either one or two intermediate ships.

Refundment of Charges.

The charges for radiotelegrams incorrectly trans- mitted, unduly delayed, or not delivered to the addressee, will be refunded, wholly or in part, under certain conditions.

The following are the principal cases in which reimbursement may be claimed:-

(a) When a radiotelegram written in plain language has been rendered useless by inaccurate transmission, the whole amount paid will be refunded. Under no circumstances is the charge for a code or cypher radiotelegram returned on account of an error in transmission (except in the case of collated tele- grams unless such error leads to non-delivery or delay beyond the limits mentioned in (d).

(b) When a radiotelegram has failed to reach its destination through some fault on the part of the telegraphic or radio telegraphic service, the whole of the amount paid will be refunded.

When one or more words have been omitted in transmission the cost of such word or words will be refunded, provided that it is not less than G.F.2.0.

(d) When a radiotelegram is delayed through the fault of the telegraph service, the whole of the charge will be refunded if the delay exceeds the limit stipulated in the Telegraph Regulations. The time occupied in wireless transmission, and the time during which the radiotelegram remains at the coast station in the case of radiotelegrams to ships will not be reckoned towards the period of delay entitling the sender to reimbursement,

(e) When a reply-paid voucher has not been used and has been returned within three months of the date of issue or when the full amount deposited for a reply has not been expended, provided that the unexpended amount is not less than G. F.2.0, and that application is made within three months of the date
