255.-The address of the semaphore telegrams to ships should contain :-

(a) Name of the addressee.

(b) Name of the vessel, (supplemented in the case of vessels bearing the same name by the nationality of the vessel, and if necessary, by its distinguishing signal under the International Code of Signals). (c) Name of the Signal Station.

256. The charge for a semaphore telegram is at the rate of 5 cents per word, which must be prepaid.

In the case

of semaphore telegrams signalled from ships the charge is collected from the Receiver.
