9. Mr. C. G. FOLWELL was honoured by Her Majesty the Queen in the 1971 New Year Honours List by being appointed a Companion of the Imperial Service Order.
Obituary
10. It is recorded with deep regret that Mr. A. G. CROOK, O.B.E., former Postmaster General, died on 16th August, 1970 in Surrey, England at the age of 58.
11. Mr. CROOK joined the British Post Office in 1929. He first came to Hong Kong in July 1953 as Controller of Posts, became Deputy Postmaster General in December of the same year and was Postmaster General from 1958 to 1968. He retired from the service on 4th June, 1968.
