18. Mr. A. G. CROOK, O.B.E., Postmaster General, left the Colony on 24.3.68 on leave prior to retirement.
19. Mr. D. B. L. GREW, Senior Inspector (Telecommunications) proceeded on pre-retirement leave on 3.7.67 and retired on 11.12.67.
20. Mr. K. R. SEAMANS, Controller (Telecommunications), reverted to the British Post Office on expiration of his leave on 4.8.67.
21. Mr. A. NELSON, Assistant Controller (Telecommunications), Class I proceeded on leave on 5.12.67 prior to reversion to the British Post Office.

22. Mr. T. H. MESSENGER, Senior Controller of Posts, was absent from the Colony on vacation leave during the period 11.4.67 to 19.11.67.
23. Mr. W. R. J. BALL, Assistant Controller of Posts Class I, returned from vacation leave on 13.11.67, having had his contract renewed for a further tour.
24. Mr. C. G. FOLWELL, Deputy Postmaster General (now Post- master General), returned from vacation leave on 3.3.68.
25. Mr. J. M. MCNEILL, Controller (Monitoring) proceeded on home leave on 20.3.68.
Conference
26. Mr. R. V. TALBOT-JONES, Chief Controller, Telecommunications Services, left Hong Kong for Bangkok on 6.6.67 to attend the E.C.A.F.E. Working Party of Telecommunication Experts Third Session Confer- ence; he returned on 15.6.67.
Regradings
27. The titles and salary scales of various posts in the Tele- communications Division were changed as a result of a regrading in December 1967 which was designed to clarify the position of professional officers and at the same time improve the career prospects of technicians.
