Senior Staff Appointments

8. Mr. P. J. CROWLEY was appointed as Assistant Controller of Posts, Class I, on temporary transfer and arrived in the Colony on 5.6.67.

9. Mr. H. H. A. WEBB was appointed Controller of Posts on agree- ment and arrived on 17.9.67.

Senior Staff Promotions

10. Mr. C. G. FOLWELL, Deputy Postmaster General, was promoted to Postmaster General with effect from 22.3.68.

11. Mr. M. ADDI, Senior Controller of Posts, was promoted to Deputy Postmaster General with effect from 22.3.68.

12. Mr. J. A. TAYLOR, Controller of Posts, was promoted to Senior Controller of Posts with effect from 22.3.68.

13. Mr. CHAN Kwok-chuen, Telecommunications Engineer, was pro- moted to Assistant Controller (Telecommunications) Class I with effect from 2.6.67.

14. Mr. TAM Shu-kee, Assistant Controller of Posts, Class II was promoted to Class I of the grade with effect from 1.8.67.

15. Mr. CHAN Hing-sum, Superintendent of Posts, was promoted to Assistant Controller of Posts Class I with effect from 1.12.67.

16. Mr. SHAM Li-wing, Inspector (Telecommunications), was pro- moted to Senior Inspector (Telecommunications) with effect from 11.12.67.

Honours

17. Her Majesty the Queen was graciously pleased to approve the following appointments/award to members of the department during the year under report:

Appointment:

(a) Mr. A. G. CROOK, Postmaster General, to be an Ordinary Officer of the Civil Division of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire; and

(b) Mr. GoH Kong-hooi, Controller of Posts, to be an Ordinary Member of the Civil Division of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire.
