This latter figure does not take into account 'dual purpose' television screens i.e. one set capable of receiving both broad- cast and wired television programmes and connected to a Rediffusion outlet point, since such screens are exempted from Broadcast Television Licence fees under the Telecommunication (Rediffusion Television Sub- scribers) Exemption Order, 1967. 82. 15 cases of infringement of International Radio Regulations were investigated during the year.

Examinations-Certificate of Competency in Radiotelegraphy

83. The examination falls into two parts for First and Second Class Certificates and one part only (Part II) for the Special Class Certificate.

First Class Certificate examinations were conducted twice during the year.

Second Class and Special Certificate examinations were held on three occasions.
