ROAST MEAT SHOPS BY-LAWS.

Definition.

In these by-laws "roast meat shop" means building or portion thereof used for the sale for consumption off the premises, of meat, poultry or game which has been roasted or otherwise cooked off the premises.

2. (1) No person shall commence the business of a Licence. roast meat shop without a licence for that purpose from the Council.

(2) Such licence shall be subject to such conditions as the Council may see fit to prescribe.

(3) Every such licence shall expire on the 31st day of March each year and shall be for a period not exceeding one year. The licence fee shall be $120.00 annually. If a licence is issued on or after 1st October in any year, half fee shall be payable.

(a) the building shall be of substantial construction and the whole of the ground surfaces shall be in accordance with the provisions of subsections (1) and (2) of section 20 of the Buildings Ordinance, (Cap. 123) or of any legislation subsequently enacted in revision or amendment thereof: Provided that in the case of buildings erected before the year 1936, the Council may waive or modify requirements in the matter of ground surfaces;

(b) floor surfaces other than ground surfaces shall be of non-absorbent material finished off smooth;
