Whenever the words "Chief Civil Affairs Officer" occur, there shall be substituted the words "Governor in Council".

In paragraph (3) the words "Hong Kong (British Military Administration)" shall be deleted.

The words "in the public interest" shall be substituted for the words "in the interests of the British Military Administration".

There shall be substituted for the words "shall be guilty of an offence... such imprisonment and fine" the words "shall be liable

(a) on conviction on indictment to imprisonment for five years and to a fine of ten thousand dollars;

(b) on summary conviction to imprisonment for one year or to a fine of two thousand dollars".
