Permission is hereby given to

(1) [the duly authorized representative of] the governing body of

an institution

approved in that behalf by the Governor in Council, to use alcohol free of duty in the institution for the purpose of (3)

on the following conditions—

1. Except with the special permission of the Director-

(a) only ...... gallons of alcohol shall be obtained during the period for which this permit is valid; (b) the alcohol shall be received only by (4)

from (4)

in sealed containers in quantities of not less than 8 gallons by volume at a time, on a removal permit for each occasion;

(c) the containers shall not be opened until examined at the

institution by a revenue officer.

2.

In the institution----

(a) the alcohol shall be kept, under the control of the person authorized by this permit to receive it, in a locked compartment set apart for that purpose;

(b) a stock book showing, with dates, the alcohol received and the manner in which it has been used shall be kept to the satisfaction of the Director;

(c) the alcohol in stock at any one time shall not exceed 10 gallons or half the quantity specified in condition 1(a), whichever is greater;

(d) the alcohol shall be rendered unpotable before and during

use to the satisfaction of the Director, if he so requires.
