Buildings.

3. That we will always give free ingress to the Building Authority or any officer authorized by such Authority to enter the premises and examine the verandah (or balcony).

4. That should the land on or over which such verandah (or balcony) is to be erected be, at any future time, required by the Government for any public work, improvement, or other public purpose, we hereby undertake on receipt of a notice in writing from the Building Authority to remove at our own expense the whole of the structure within a period of three months from the date of such notice, and without making any claim for compensation on the Government for such removal.

5. That in the event of the Street being hereafter raised or lowered, we hereby undertake on receipt of a notice in writing signed by the Building Authority to raise or lower within a period of three months from the date of such notice and at our own expense the whole of the ground floor surfaces to such levels as shall be determined by the Building Authority and further undertake to make no claim for compensation on the Government in respect of such raising or lowering.

6. That we undertake to take down at our own expenses such portions of party or party-fence walls and other structures as may be necessary to open up a scavenging lane, when called upon to do so and as required by the Building Authority, and that no claim for compensation in respect thereof shall be made.

7. That we will always comply with all regulations from time to time in force relating to verandahs and balconies.

8. And that this agreement shall be binding also on executors, administrators and assigns.

1. That we will in no way deviate from the plans and drawings of such works supplied, signed by and deposited in the office of the Building Authority.
