LIST OF OFFENCES EXCLUDED FROM SUMMARY JURISDICTION.
1. Any offence which is punishable with death.
2. Any offence (except burglary) which is punishable with imprisonment with hard labour for life.
3. Any felony mentioned in the Suppression of Piracy Ordinance, 1868. Ordinance No. 1 of 1868.
4. Misprision of treason.
5. Any offence against the King's title, prerogative, person or government.
6. Blasphemy and offences against religion.
7. Perjury and subornation of perjury.
8. Making or suborning any other person to make a false oath punishable as perjury or as a misdemeanour.
9. Any offence against any provision of the laws relating to bankrupts.
10. Composing, printing, or publishing blasphemous, seditious, or defamatory libels.
11. Defamation.
12. Bigamy.
13. Bribery, except in cases punishable under section 3 or section 4 of the Misdemeanors Punishment Ordinance, 1898, where the amount or value of the bribe does not exceed ten dollars. Ordinance No. 1 of 1898.
14. Arson.

16. Stealing, or fraudulently taking, or injuring or destroying records or documents belonging to any court of record or relating to any proceeding therein.

18. Any offence committed by trustees created by deed or will, bankers, or factors, and mentioned in any of sections 62 to 73 of the Larceny Ordinance, 1865. Ordinance No. 5 of 1865.
