29. The amount realised by the sale of Postage Stamps in 1874, was $137,722.84. Stamps of the value of $74,419.68 were sold in Hongkong, and the remainder, viz., $63,303.16, at the Post Office Agencies at the l'orts in China and Japan, showing a decrease of $2,603.43 in those sold in Hongkong, and a decrease of $1,665.50 in those sold at the Ports, as compared with 1873.
