NOTICE.
1. The Custodian in China of Enemy Property hereby invites tenders by British Subjects for the purchase of the leasehold property situate in the British Concession, Shameen, and known and registered at H. B. M. Con- sulate-General at Canton as Lots Numbers 22 and 38 which leasehold property is held subject to the Lessees' covenants and the conditions contained in two Crown Leases of the said Lots respectively, the first for 99 years terminating on the 2nd day of September, 1960, and the second for 73 years terminating on the 3rd day of Sept- ember, 1960.
2. The property, which was lately occupied by Reuter Brockelmann and Company, has an area of 22,290 square feet and is advan- tageously situated on South and Central Avenues. A Residence, Godowns and Servants' quarters are built upon the site.
3. Particulars and conditions of sale may be obtained by applying in Canton to H.B. M. Consul-General, in Hongkong to the Char- tered Bank of India, Australia and China, and in Shanghai to the Custodian direct.
4. Inspection of the property can be arranged by applying to H.B.M. Consul-General at Canton.
5. Tenders in writing which should be address- ed to "The Custodian in China of Enemy Property, 20, Yuen Ming Yuen Road, Shanghai," so as to reach him not later than the 7th day of July, 1919, must be so framed as to remain open for acceptance on or before the 25th day of July, 1919.
6. The Custodian is not hound to accept the
highest or any tender received.
