2. The Minutes of the Meeting held on the 1st September, 1939, were confirmed.
ANNOUNCEMENT.
3. His Excellency the Governor made a statement regarding the war between Great
Britain and Germany.
The Honourable Sir HENRY EDWARD POLLOCK, Kt., K.C., LL.D., addressed the Council supporting His Excellency the Governor's statement and added that the Unofficial Members of the Council would heartily support any measures necessary for the safety of the Colony.
