(9) Section 39, as ainended by Ordinances Nos.

1 of 1927, 28 of 1930, 41 of 1935 and 26 of 1987, is further amended--

(i) under the heading A.--Official definitions", by the substitution in para- graph (1)

(a) of the following definition for the definition in the first three lines--

' (1) 'Governor' means the Governor of Governor. Hong Kong and includes the officer for the time being administering the Government of Hong Kong and also includes the Gover- nor's Deputy exercising any power which he is duly appointed to exercise under the Royal Letters Patent constituting the office of Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hong Kong and its Dependencies;

(b) of the words His Majesty' the King in the tenth line;

(ii) under the heading

(a) by the substitution in paragraph (5) of the following words and figures-
