AMENDMENT OR REPEAL.
(2) to Ordinances now in force; and
(3) generally, to all enactments.
(3) Section 10 is amended by the substitution of the following sub-sections for sub- sections (2) and (5)~
(2) Where however the short title is not used, it shall be lawful to indicate any Ordinance referred to as aforesaid by the serial number of the year in which it was passed, together with such year, and the number of the section referred to, as the same appear in the Ordinances of Hong Kong (1937 edition), prepared under author- ity of the Ordinances and Regulations of Ordinance Hong Kong (1937 edition) Ordinance, 1936. No. 51 of
1936.
(8) Where the reference to any Ordin- ance is to any line' in any section thereof, it shall be held to refer, in the case of Ordinances included in the Ordinances of Hong Kong (1987 edition), prepared under authority of the Ordinances and Regulations Ordinance of Hong Kong (1937 edition) Ordinance, No. 51 of 1986, to the line of such section as printed 1936. therein; and in the case of Ordinances passed after the year 1937 to the line of such section as printed in the copy deposited in the Registry of the Supreme Court,'

(4) Section 11 is amended by the substitution of the following sub-section for sub-section (2)---
(2) Where any Ordinance, or any part of an Ordinanec, is repealed, all proclama- tions, orders, notices, rules, regulations and forms issued, made or prescribed in virtue thereof shall remain in force, so far as they are not inconsistent with the provi- sions of the repealing Ordinance and unless the contrary intention appears, until they have been repealed or replaced by proclama- tions, orders, notices, rules, regulations or forms, as the ease may be, issued, made or prescribed under the provisions of the said repealing Ordinance."
(5) Section 15 is amended by the substitution of the word "appears" for "shall appear" in the penultimate line.

(6) Section 17 is annended by the substitution of the word " is for shall be in the first line.
(7) Section 25, as amended by Ordinance No. 1 of 1927---sub-section (4) is further amended by the repeal of the words "from time to time in the seventh and eighth lines.
(8) Section 83 is amended by the substitution
of the figure
for the figures
the penultimate line.
