ANNOUNCEMENT.

3. His Excellency the Governor made a statement regarding the agreement recently reached in Tokyo between the British Ambassador and the Japanese Foreign Minister.

The Honourable Mr. CHAU TSUN-NIN thanked His Excellency for the statement

on behalf of his Chinese colleagues and himself.

of a Bill intituled

On Council resuming, the Attorney General reported that the Bill had passed through Committee without amendment, and moved that it be read a third time.

6. Registration of Persons Amendment Bill.-The Attorney General moved the Second reading of a Bill intituled An Ordinance to amend the Registration of Persons Ordinance, 1939."
