No. S. 318.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in duplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for the supply of Castings", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Friday, the 22nd day of November, 1918, for the supply of Castings for the use of the Kowloon-Canton Railway (British Section) for the year 1919.

Forms of tender and further particulars may be obtained at the Railway Office, Kowloon.

The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

No. S. 319. It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in duplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for the supply of Lubricating Oils for the Kowloon-Canton Railway", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Friday, the 22nd day of November, 1918, for the supply of Lubricating Oils for the Kowloon-Canton Railway, (British Section), from 1st January, 1919, to 31st December, 1919.

The price quoted to include free delivery at the Railway Stores at Hunghom.

No tender will be received unless the person tendering produces a receipt to the effect that he has deposited in the Colonial Treasury the sum of $100 as a pledge of the bona fides of his offer, which sum shall be forfeited to the Crown, if such person refuses to carry out his tender, if accepted.

The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

For further information apply at the Office of the Manager at Kowloon, where forms of tender may be obtained.

Shaohsing Wreck Inner Buoy to be Discontinued.

Shaohsing Wreck Outer Buoy to be Moved.

REFERRING to Notice to Mariners No. 641 and Special Notice to Mariners No. 504, notice is hereby given that the Shaohsing Wreck Inner Buoy will be discontinued on or about the 15th November, 1918, when salvage operations on the wreck will be suspended for the season, and that the Shaohsing Wreck Outer Buoy will be moved to a position from which the centre of the wreck will bear N.W. (magnetic) and be distant cable.
