Position.-Lat. 13° 27′ 10′′ N., Long. 74° 42′ 15′′ E.
Description.-A lantern exhibiting a fixed red light.
Former Notice.-No. 54 of 1913 dated 7th August, 1913.

Remarks. The exhibition of the light has been suspended pending the supply of a

NOTICE is hereby given that Fort No. 2 Staff Light, on the Fort, Gulf of Tokyo, which was discontinued for reconstruction (see Notification No. 826 of Department of Communications, October, 1917) will be shown as formerly on the 31st of March, 1918.

NOTICE is hereby given that the character, the candle power, and the visibility of the Light of Joga Shima, on Joga Shima, province of Sagami, will be changed as follows on the 1st of April, 1918:
Joga Shima Lighthouse.
Character.--Sixth order, acetylene gas flashing white, showing one flash every
20 seconds.
Power.--5,000 candles.
Visible distance.--15 nautical miles in clear night.
P.S.-After practical measurement, the height of the light above the water is cal- culated as 85'9 shaku.
