AMENDMENT OR REPEAL.
60. The Telephone Ordinance, 1925. (No. 9 of 1925), ---contd.
Electric Company Limited, and shall within three and a half years from the date of the commencement of this Ordinance or such other extended period as may be approved of by the Governor in Council and published in the Gazette" in the first eight lines, and the word "hereafter" in the twenty-first line, are repealed;
(ii) the words "and shall maintain and operate" are inserted in the twelfth line line immediately after "Taipo";
(iii) the word "may" is substituted for "shall" in the twenty-third, the twenty- ninth, the thirty-sixth and the penultimate lines.
(14) Section 33 as amended by Ordinance No.
9 of 1930-
are
(i) the words "(if demanded)”’ inserted immediately after "advance" in the third line and repealed in the fourth line;
(i) the words "(if required)" are in- serted in the fourth line immediately after "signature" and repealed in the sixth line;
(ii) the word "that" is substituted for "any such" in the tenth line;
(iv) the last sentence is repealed.
