(3) No light, explosives, fire or other substance capable of igniting inflammable liquids or vapour shall be allowed within twenty-five feet of any pump.
(4) Notices prohibiting smoking, in English and Chinese, shall be conspicuously displayed in the vicinity of every pump.
(5) No combustible article not connected with the supply of inflammable liquid shall be stored in any premises used in connexion with any pump.
(6) Fire extinguishing apparatus shall be provided at every pump to the satisfaction of the Chief Officer of the Fire Brigade.
338.—(1) Every receptacle forming part of a pump and used for measuring or otherwise shall, except with the permis- sion of the Licensing Authority, be fitted with overflow and emptying pipes, which shall lead into the tank to which the pump is connected at a declining angle.
(2) Paragraph (1) of this regulation shall not apply to any metering pump.
339. Every tank, pump, pipe and all machinery, ap- paratus, and appliances in connexion with, or connected to any tank, pump or pipe shall be designed and constructed in accordance with sound engineering practice.
PART XXI.-STORAGE OF INFLAMMABLE LIQUIDS IN PETROLEUM REFINERIES.
340. In this Part---
(1) "petroleum refinery" means any place where any petroleum is subjected to filtering or refining.
(2) "storage shed" means a building within a petroleum refinery used for the storage of high flash liquid.

341. No low flash liquid shall be filtered or refined in any petroleum refinery.
342.-(1) Every petroleum refinery shall be situated, erected and maintained on a site specially, approved by the Licensing Authority and the Director of Public Works.
(2) Every petroleum refinery shall be enclosed by such walls or fences as the Licensing Authority may require.
343.-(1) No person shall smoke in any petroleum refinery except in such part thereof as is specially allocated for smoking.
(2) Notices bearing, in English and Chinese, the words "No Smoking" shall be conspicuously posted in every part of every petroleum refinery where smoking is prohibited.
