310. Due precautions shall be taken unauthorized person or any person under the age of fifteen years from obtaining access to the store or pit.

311. Fire extinguishing materials and appliances shall be provided at or near every store or pit to the satisfaction of the Chief Officer of the Fire Brigade.

312. The licensee of every store or pit shall at all reasonable times permit any authorized officer to enter the premises containing the store or pit for the purpose of ascertaining if the regulations in this Part are being complied with by the licensee.

PART XVIII-STORAGE OF QUANTITIES OF INFLAMMABLE LIQUIDS EXEMPTED FROM SECTION 10 OF THE ORDINANCE.*

313. This Part applies to storage of quantities of inflam- mable liquids exempted from Section 10 of the Ordinance (in this Part referred to as "exempted liquid').

314. The exempted liquid shall be kept in metal vessels so constructed and maintained in such condition as-

(a) to be reasonably secure against breakage; and (b) to prevent the leakage of any liquid or vapour there- from.

315. No person shall repair or cause to be repaired any container or receptacle in which, to his knowledge, any exempted liquid is or has been kept until he has taken all reasonable precautions to ensure that such container receptacle has been rendered free from inflammable liquid and from any inflammable vapour occasioned thereby.

316. Every container or receptacle used for the purpose of keeping any exempted liquid and not being the fuel tank of a motor vehicle, motor boat, aircraft or engine, shall be labelled with the prescribed label: Provided that it shall not be necessary to label with the prescribed label any tin containing any low flash liquid or high flash liquid if a triangular red label having sides not less than one inch in length is painted or otherwise marked on or securely attached to the top of the tin.

317. (1) Every place where any exempted liquid is stored or kept shall-

(a) unless it is in the open air, be efficiently ventilated to the open air and be provided with an entrance direct from the open air,

(b) be provided with fire extinguishing apparatus to the satisfaction of the Chief Officer of the Fire Brigade,

(c) not be used for any domestic purpose whatsoever, (d) not form part of or be attached to any building used for residential purposes or as a place of assembly, unless it is separated therefrom by a substantial floor or partition which shall-
