101. Not more than one of the containers in any store shall be open at any one time.

102. No vessel or other article with which calcium carbide or acetylene is liable to come into contact shall be constructed wholly or partly of copper.

103. Calcium carbide which is not commercially pure shall not be kept in any store.

104. No fire, flame, or artificial light, and no article or thing capable of igniting acetylene shall be permitted near or within any store.

105. Quantities of calcium carbide not exceeding 100 pounds may be kept ready for use in a properly equipped gasometer or other similar apparatus in a situation approved by the Licensing Authority.

106.-(1) The licensee of every store shall maintain an open tank outside such store and in the open air for the reception of the residue from the calcium carbide.

(2) Such residue shall remain in such tank for at least ten hours in a quantity of water equal at least to ten times. the bulk of such residue.

107. Every precaution shall be taken to prevent-

(a) any lime sludge from being discharged into drains or

sewers,

(b) accidents from fire,

(c) unauthorized persons and persons under the age of fifteen years from obtaining access to any store, and

(1) the access of water to any store.

108.-(1) No alteration shall be made in the construc- tion or arrangement of any store without the written consent of the Licensing Authority.

(2) The plans of every proposed alteration in the con- struction of any store shall be submitted to and approved by the Building Authority before work is commenced.

109. The licensee of every store shall-

(a) at all times permit any public officer duly authorized in that behalf by the Licensing Authority to enter the store to ascertain if the regulations in this Part are being duly observed and complied with by the licensee,

and

(b) give such assistance to such officer as he may require,

(c) furnish samples of any substances in the store if so required by such officer.

PART X.-BULK OIL.

110. In this Part-

(a) “bulk_vil” means petroleum in any container, tank, compartment or receptacle having a capacity of or exceeding 300 gallons, but does not include-

(i) lubricating oils, or
