OTICE is hereby given that a petition presented to the Supreme Court of Hong Kong, Original Jurisdiction, on the 4th day of March, 1938, for confirming a Special Resolu- tion reducing the capital of the abovemention- ed company from $1,000,000.00 to $500,000.00 is directed to be heard before His Lordship the Chief Justice on the 25th day of April, 1938, at 10 a.m. Any creditor or shareholder of the company desiring to oppose the making of an order for the reduction of the capital of the said company under the above Ordinance should appear at the time of hearing by himself or his Counsel for that purpose. And a copy of the petition will be furnished to any creditor or shareholder of the company requiring the same by the undersigned on payment of the regulated charges for the same.

NOTICE is hereby given that by a Writ of

Summons issued in an action intituled In the Supreme Court of Hong Kong, Sum- mary Jurisdiction, Action No. 199 of 1938, Between Uloomal & Assudamal Co., plaintiffs and Yuen Chip trading as The King Shing Knitting Company, defendant" dated the 4th day of March, 1938, the plaintiffs, Utoomal & Assudamal Co. of Dina House, Duddell Street, Victoria, in the Colony of Hong Kong, claim against the defendant, Yuen Chip trading as The King Shing Knitting Company, the sum of $1,374.93 being :-

(1) as to the sum of $614.50 the balance of price of goods sold and delivered by the plaintiffs to the defendant; (2) as to the sum of $160.43 being damages for breach of a contract No. 7618 between the plaintiffs and the defendant payable under collateral indeninity in writing given by the defendant to the plaintiffs on the 9th day of October, 1937 ; and

a

(3) as to $600.00 being damages for breach of a contract No. 6282 made between the plaintiffs and the de- fendant by way of late delivery of the goods comprised in the said contract.

The plaintiffs waive the sum of $374.93 in order to bring this action within the summary jurisdiction of this Honourable Court.

AND NOTICE is further given that pursuant to Chapter XVI of the Code of Civil Procedure, Section 453, a Writ of Foreign Attachment was, on the 4th day of March, 1938, issued by the Deputy Registrar of the Supreme Court com- manding the Bailiff of the Supreme Court to forthwith attach all the property, movable and immovable, of the abovenamed defendant, Yuen Chip trading as The King Shing Knitting Company, which shall be found within the Colony and to return the said Writ into the said Court on the 18th day of March, 1938.

OTICE is hereby given that the Mayar Silk Mills, Ltd. of No. 83, Bonham Strand East, Victoria, in the Colony of Hong Kong, Merchants, have on the 4th day of March 1938, applied for the registration, in Hong Kong, in the Register of Trade Marks, of the following Trade Mark:-

in the name of the said Mayar Silk Mills, Ltd. who claim to be the proprietors thereof.

The said Trade Mark has been used by the Applicants in business in respect of Silk piece goods in Class 31 since September 1920.

A facsimile of such Trade Mark can be scen at the offices of the Registrar of Trade Marks. of Hong Kong, and of the undersigned.
