An Ordinance to amend the Industrial Employ-

ment of Children Ordinance, 1922.

BE it enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof, as follows:-

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Industrial Short title. Employment of Women, Young Persons and Children Amendment Ordinance, 1929.

2. The long title of the Industrial Employment of Amendment Children Ordinance, 1922, hereinafter called the prin- of Ordinance cipal Ordinance, is amended so as to read, "An Ordi- No. 22 of

3. Section 1 of the principal Ordinance is amended Amendment by the insertion of the words "Women, Young Persons of Ordinance and immediately before the word Children".

4. Section 2 of the principal Ordinance is amended Amendment as follows:-

(a) by the deletion of the word “juvenile' in

paragraph (e);

(b) by the deletion of the word Juvenile "

paragraph (f);

(e) by the addition of the following paragraph

immediately after paragraph (ƒ) :-

(g) "Young person'

means a person

of or over the age of fifteen years and under the age of eighteen years.

5. Section 3 of the principal Ordinance is amended Amendment

as follows:-

(a) by the insertion of the words "young persons or" immediately before the word " 'children" in sub-section (1) (b);
