MASTERS of vessels and others are hereby notified that a Green Buoy with the word "Wreck
painted on it in white letters has been placed to mark the sunken wreck of the Songvaar. The Buoy is about 30 fathoms N.W. by N. of the northernmost part of wreck.

The visibility of lights is that in clear weather. Fog signals are sounded only in thick or foggy weather. The elevation given is the height of focal plane above high water.

Cape Don--Intended New Light.
MARINERS and others are hereby notified that the new flashing white light on Cape Den will be exhibited experimentally on or about 15th September, 1917.
Position. Lat. 11° 18' S; Long. 131° 46' E.
Structure.--Grey Concrete Tower, lantern painted white. Height, 118 ft. The tower shows about 58 ft. above the trees on the Cape.
