Removal of Aids to Navigation.

NOTICE is hereby given that owing to the rise of the river Buoys have been removed. Bamboos now mark low water channel.

SAMSHUI DISTRICT.

Temporary Aids to Navigation discontinued.

NOTICE is hereby given that owing to the rise of the river the temporary Red Light and Beacon marking the sand bank S.E. of Low Point, Rattler Island, and the Black Beacon marking the sand bank at the entrance of the eastern branch of the North River have been removed.

LOCAL NOTICE TO MARINERS, No. 65.

SAMSHUI DISTRICT.

Wreck.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Steam-launch Ho Sai lies sunk at the Western end of Rattler Island about 200 feet from shore.

The wreck is marked by a native boat exhibiting from sunset to sunrise 2 red lights, suspended vertically, 3 feet apart. The mast and funnel of the wreck are showing above water and are a good mark by day.

The wreck marking boat is moored over the wreck and can be passed on either side.
